Activities

Children can follow their curiosity, explore, and discover the world around them through fun, play-based experiences. We align our curriculum with the children's interests, abilities and learning styles, so they truly engage with the education program and develop a love of learning.

Guest visitors and excursions bring our curriculum to life with:

  • Visits to the local primary school and Essendon Traffic School
  • Visits by animal handlers
  • Learning to care for and handle pets with the Responsible Pet Program
  • A workshop with the Essendon Footy Club mascot, Skeeter
  • Recycling and sustainable living lessons
Health and wellbeing

We empower children to make healthy choices at kindergarten and home. By educating them and their families about nutrition and the importance of a balanced lifestyle, they develop skills to take care of their bodies, form good eating habits, and have the energy and eagerness to live their best lives.

Family and community

Our kindergarten welcomes family and encourages the spirit of community. We respect each child’s individuality and cultural background, value each family’s participation in the program and work in partnership with families to provide the best outcomes for their child.

We encourage parent involvement and ask that parents contribute to their child’s program by:

  • Celebrating significant cultural festivals and days together
  • Talking to the children about their job, hobbies or other interesting topics
  • Volunteering their time to provide support and resources for our programs
  • Being part of our active Parent Advisory Committee
  • Assisting with fundraising and social activities
Languages

Our staff speak English and Urdu. We can have all forms of communication translated for families who speak languages other than English.

Special services

Our educators have the skills to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children. They are experienced in working with children who live with a range of physical and intellectual disability as well as those who have experienced challenges and trauma.
